Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day!
I have been crocheting off and on since I was seven years old.
I picked up my hooks again in the winter of 2014. I wanted to sell my items on the internet as a way to make a bit of extra money. I had gotten a bunch of small scrap yarn from my mother, I thought scarves would be a simple small thing I could crochet any time of the year. Those afghans get a bit heavy and hot to work on during the summer. They would also be easy and inexpensive to ship. I built up a small inventory. I chose the name Skrappy Skarves for those two reasons, the scrap and the scarves. I chose to spell it with “k”s to help it stand out from the crowd so to speak. And this is how Skrappy Skarves was born.
Well, after about eight scarves, I decided I wanted to make other small items. Some of those items included, coin purses, cellphone cozys, totes, gift bags, full-sized purses, wrist warmers, mittens, and hats, lots and lots of hats. They have become my favorite item to make.
I have also made several items for family members.
