My Blacklight Camera Case

Another project that I needed to sew was a case for my camera. I had all the parts crocheted just needed to sew in a bit of fabric. I used some of the blue fabric left over from the Bon Bon Clutch lining.

Started on: 11/04/2016
Finished on: 12/02/2016
Hook Used: F/5 – 3.75 mm
Stitches Used: Chain 17. Double crochet in 2nd chain from hook. Single crochet in next chain. Alternate Double crochet and single crochet to end. Chain 2. Turn. Repeated until desired length of 9 inches was obtained. Single crochet, skip 4 stitches to form button loop, single crochet to end of row. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet across, fasten off, weave in ends. Sewed a piece of fabric to the crocheted piece leaving space to attach the sides.
Side Piece Made 2 – Chain a 2 1/2 inch chain worked single crocheted rows until piece was 1 inch wide. Fasten off, weave in ends. Single crochet the side pieces to main piece. Sew on Button.
Colors: Red Heart Super Saver 100% Acrylic 4 ply worsted weight in 3939 Blacklight
Other Materials: Small piece of blue fabric and a 1 inch diameter blue button.
Measurements: 2 1/2 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide x 1 inch deep. 3 1/2 inch flap.
